Dr. David Brown joins Midwest Dental in New Lisbon

Midwest Dental of New Lisbon is happy to announce Dr. David Brown, DDS the newest member of the team. Dr. Brown studied general dentistry at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry after receiving his Bachelor of Science from Northern Illinois University in biological sciences with a minor in chemistry. Dr. Brown was a Navy Corpsman from 1977 until 1981.

Dr. Brown told the Messenger he worked with Midwest Dental before and he is happy to be back with them. Brown worked for Midwest Dental for six years and had been working elsewhere as a dentist for the past ten years. Dr. Brown is taking Dr. Rubash’s practice over after Rubash retired after thirty years.

Dr. Brown has been seeing patients since April 3 and is accepting new patients.

Dr. Brown said, “I have focused most on my ability to comfortably provide exceptional dental care, with my patients relaxed, and at ease during their appointment. I don’t want them to be fearful anymore. I want them to have the best dental experience.”

He and his wife have five children and eight grandchildren. Dr. Brown enjoys spending time with his grandchildren attending their activities and mentoring them with their school work. He loves reading, especially about American history. Dr. Brown said, “I especially love the Civil War, anything to do with it.” Also during his free time, he plays the piano and the drums and enjoys listening to music.
